I recently purchased the Parissa Persian Cold Wax after seeing so many rave reviews about it in many of the magazines I often read. I was very intrigued about the fact that this product uses cold wax rather than hot wax to achieve hair removal. I hate getting waxed just as much as the next girl and one of the things I hate most about the process is applying so much heat to sensitive areas. I didn’t think it was possible to use a cold wax for the same process so when I saw this product in a magazine, I knew I had to have it. I am so glad that I saw this because I have absolutely loved using it. I have used it two times for hair removal in the bikini area and it has worked very effectively each time. There are so many things I love about this wax. To start with, it contains all natural ingredients. There are no harsh chemicals or preservatives on the ingredients list at all. The product is actually sugar based. I highly prefer something that is natural like this to something like Nair which is not only harsh due to all the chemicals but also smells terrible even after being washed away. This wax also doesn’t have any weird sort of fragrance to it.The thing I love most about this product is how long lasting it is. Doing the process one time is supposed to keep you hair free from anywhere from six to eight weeks. I have been using it every four weeks just because I am obsessed with absolutely smooth skin, but this is definitely so much more long lasting than shaving or using a hair removal cream like Nair.This wax has not caused any irritation whatsoever for my skin. I haven’t noticed any redness or those annoying bumps that come from ingrown hairs. I just get smooth skin with no irritation and no hassle.The only thing I would say about this product that someone may not like is that it is a bit more time consuming than a process like shaving. There are more steps involved. You have to spread the wax on, use the cloth strips to remove that wax, and clean all of the wax away. That said, I have smoother skin for so much longer when I use this wax kit than when I shave. I much prefer having smooth skin for a month to having smooth skin for only about five days (with shaving).Overall, I have to give the Parissa Persian Cold Wax a rating of a 10 out of 10. This is the sort of product that I can definitely see myself repurchasing and using for years to come. It is an absolute miracle when it comes to removing hair in the bikini line region. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy solution to hair removal but does not like hot wax or razors. This is cheaper than salon waxing and just as effective. You won’t regret this purchase!
